Hong Kong Vegetarian Charity Cooking Competition – 1st Edition

Objective: Vegetarianism. Charity. Industry Connection

  • To encourage restaurants in Hong Kong to develop and offer healthy and delicious vegetarian cuisine.

  • After the deduction of event costs, the remaining funds will be donated to charitable organization (Public Nutrition Development Association Limited 91/14190).

Important Dates

Phase 1: Online Judging

Application Date: 15 Dec 2024 – 22 Jan 2025

Result Announcement: 22 Jan 2025

  • Applicants are required to submit the online application form along with relevant content and photo. The registration fee of HK$500 for charitable purpose.

  • 12-14 participants will be selected for the preliminary round

Phase 2: Preliminary Round Selection

Date: 10 Feb 2025

Venue: TBC

  • Participants will prepare their dishes on-site

  • 6-8 participants will be selected for the finals

Phase 3: The Finals

Date: 21 Feb 2025

Venue: HKCEC (at Vegetarian Food Aisa 2025)

  • Participants will prepare new dishes on-site.

  • Awards will be presented for the top three positions: Champion, First Runner-Up, and Second Runner-Up.
